The Rose Ellison novels

Follow the anomaly.
Find the human cost.

Literary suspense about institutional concealment, grief, and reinvention. Rose Ellison follows the details that systems were built to overlook.

A Trench of Roses

Eleven minutes
too early.

A former death investigator, a claims desk in Glendale, and an anomaly that predates the first 911 call. Rose’s search for an explanation becomes a reckoning with identity itself.

The Ellison Variable

When better numbers
hide a darker truth.

In Dallas, veteran suicides are being reclassified to improve the reported outcomes of a federal prevention contract. Rose follows the lives disappearing behind the statistics.

Lower Ground

The machinery
crosses borders.

From Naples to London to Jerusalem, Rose follows the money behind the system that took her husband—and finds a man who seems to know her better than she knows herself. But exposing a machine is not the same as stopping it. Now attached to an Inspector General task force, she has a new mandate: go inside the systems no one else can reach—and find the people they were built to erase.
